On retrouve Lila en vacance avec Alex sur une plage du sud des Etats-Unis alors que tout se passe bien pour eux, ils seront vite dérangés par Jack & Amber avant d'être rejoint par Suki & Nate. Je dois dire qu'en terme d'intrigue cette nouvelle n'apporte pas grand chose, mais j'aime tellement ces personnages que je suis toujours ravie de les retrouver. Il y a des moments très drôles et mignons mais j'aime surtout la relation entre Lila et Jack qui me fait très rire car les deux sont aussi têtus l'un que l'autre et c'est assez drôle.

Étant pour Adam depuis le début de saga j'avais de hâte de lire cette nouvelle et là, grande déception, je trouve ce personnage, plat et mou et  même si je comprends ce qui le fait agir ainsi je dois dire que cette nouvelle ne me réjouit pas. Ne pouvant  pas cautionner Warner je ne sais pas trop ce que la romance va donner dans ce dernier tome mais je ne suis pas rassurée.

Mind games avait été une bonne surprise de cette année, avec une touche d'originalité qui m'avait beaucoup plus. Et j'ai pris grand plaisir à retrouver cet univers. Ce qui faut savoir, c'est qu'on a dans cette saga beaucoup de temporalités différentes ce qui fait qu'on a des flash-back sur des moments importants tout en lisant la trame principale et j'aime beaucoup. Surtout qu'ici, on revoit un moment clef du tome 1 et je dois dire que j'attends avec impatience le mois de février pour le second tome.

On connait tous plus au moins l'histoire du cercle de Valentine, mais dans cette nouvelle, on a plus de détails. Magnus va lors d'un affrontement rencontrer le cercle et particulièrement le jeune Valentine. Je dois dire que l'histoire du cercle et leurs actions sont peu précises dans la saga, mais là au moins on voit le règne de la terreur qu'ils ont mis en place et comment il s'attaque à tout le monde qui ne leur plait pas. De plus ici, on a une apparition de Tessa et je dois dire que j'adore.
