Un petit Scott Westerfeld même en 55 pages je suis de la partie. Dans cette univers futuriste la vie des hommes s'est tellement améliorée que tout les désagréments de notre temps ont disparu. On va suivre 2 ados qui vont redécouvrir le sommeil et la joie des hormones. C'est drôle, émouvant et on réalise à quel point notre présent est vivant et que les petits désagrément de la vie font aussi nos petits bonheurs.

Trev est le personnage que je trouve le plus interessant de la saga, j'ai toujours voulu en savoir plus sur lui et surtout voir un peu ce qu'il lui ait arrivé lorsqu'il était loin de l'équipe. Et bien, c'est chose faite et c'est très sympa on en découvre un peu plus sur l'agence et on voit surtout l'amorce des évènements du 2 .

This story introduces us to one of the main characters of Unspoken, Jared Lynburn. I enjoy the contrast of Jared's loneliness in the rough streets of Hunters Point/Bayview in San Francisco and the small, strange English town Jared is headed toward, and the girl he is about to meet. But most of all, in this story, I enjoy Jared himself, a character who is a study in contrasts--pushed to such extremes of despair and fury that he's truly capable of anything and yet capable of vast kindness, gentleness and humor.

Petite introduction au personnage de Jared je dois dire que j'ai été surprise par cette nouvelle, on voit à quel point sa vie a été bouleversée  du jour au lendemain et sachant cela on comprend mieux le personnage et puis franchement je le plains aussi un peu.

Cette fois c'est l’introduction au personnage de Kami on n'apprend pas grand chose mais on a vite une idée de son caractère. Elle est plutôt drôle et la voir avant est assez sympa.

Je dois dire que vu ma fan attitude vous vous doutez que j'ai absolument adoré ce petit cadeau, on en apprend un peu plus sur le futur de nos personnages et je dois dire que de savoir ce que devient Harry, Ron, et Hermione me touche toujours, malheureusement c'est vraiment court, trop court à mon goût.

Je dois dire que je suis très fan de la trilogie d'Ann Aguirre et vu les évènement du 2 bien sur que j'allais lire cette petite nouvelle du point de vue de Fade on apprend pas énormément de chose mais ça donne du bon pour le tome 3 que j'ai hâte de lire^^

Les nouvelles de la saga numéro 4 sont toujours importantes, véritables mines d'informations sur nos personnages et l'univers j'ai encore une fois beaucoup aimé celle-ci qui porte sur 5. Por ne pas spoilé les évènement du tome 4 je ne dirais rien mais si je pouvais encore en avoir une sur lui je serais vraiment contente en attendant j'attends le tome 5 avec impatience.

C'est la surprise de ce week end, la saga la Selection n'est pas fini on aura droit à 2 novellas et 2 nouveaux tomes c'est une bonne nouvelle et pour fêter ça l'auteure nous lâche un nouveau épilogue que j'ai beaucoup aimé. Disons que pour l'intrigue on apprend pas grand chose mais ça fait plaisir de revoir Maxon et America ensemble, on a une petite idée de comment marche la cours et vu le titre du 4ème roman ça sent bon tout ça ^^

J'avais beaucoup aimé Fracture du coup lorsque j'ai vu qu'il y avait une novella j'ai sauté sur l'occasion car j'avais vraiment envie d'en savoir plus sur Peter son meilleur ami. Elle ne fait que 28 pages mais on sent tout l'attachement que Peter a pour Delaney et j'ai pris grand plaisir à le lire surtout que le tome 2 est de son point de vue ce qui à mon avis va promettre.

Prequelle à The Murdex Complex, j'ai lu cette nouvelle après ma lecture du premier tome et je dois dire que c'est une bonne introduction à l'univers du livre. On y retrouve sa dureté, son côté sombre mais surtout on découvre Meadow et sa vie et tout de suite le ton est donné. Donc si vous voulez savoir si vous allez aimer le livre cette nouvelle est parfaite car elle représente bien ce qui vous attend.

Le résumé ne dit rien mais on suit Carswell à l'âge de 13 -14 ans lors de ses débuts au sein de son collège, dans Cress on connaît un peu plus de son histoire ms cette nouvelle revient sur un point précis qui devrait plaire donc si vous êtes fan comme moi lisez là.

Cette novella de 100 pages est pour une bonne introduction à l'univers de la saga, qui est un mixte entre magie et royauté. Ont suit le personnage de Rowan et je pense qu'on va le revoir dans la saga de manière très importante. L'intrigue qui est ici developpée par l'auteure est pour moi très importante je vous conseille donc de lire cette novella avant de lire le livre car il y a ici des informations assez importantes. 

Girls Day Out by Anna Banks (Goodreads Author)

Emma, who is half human and half Syrena, has a day apart from her Syrena love, Galen. Emma doesn’t plan to spend the day with Galen’s opinionated and bossy sister, Rayna, but she can’t quite get out of it, either. And Galen will appreciate her attempt to bond with Rayna, right?  Placée entre le tome 2 et 3 cette nouvelle porte sur la relation entre Rayna et Emma, car chacune a plus ou moins son petit caractère et même si elle cohabite leur lien n'est pas toujours amicale mais ici on les voit ensemble, passé une journée entre fille et c'est plutôt drôle. Elles ont un peu une relation de petite sœur/grande sœur même si elles ont le même âge. Bref ça n'apporte pas grand chose à l'intrigue mais ça fait sourire.

Petit prequel a The Winner's Curse cette nouvelle permet plutôt d'introduire l'univers qu'un réel personnage et l'univers à l'air juste dingue. On est clairement dans de la Fantasy avec un univers complètement inventé, il y a une pointe de magie et la fameuse histoire de pont des neiges et à la fois touchante et intrigante. Bref j'ai hâte de me plonger dans ce premier tome.

Bon, c'est très court, mais ça permet de mieux comprendre le personnage de Genya qui est pour moi un des personnages les plus complexes de la saga. C'est une scène complémentaire au tome 1 qui n'apporte pas grand chose à l'intrigue, mais qui confirme certaines choses. Je le réserve donc au fan de la première heure.

Pour une novella, le résumé est particulièrement long. On est dans l'univers de Cruel Beauty et on a droit a la réécriture de Cendrillon. j'ai encore une fois adoré me plonger dans cet ambiance riche et complexe. Le livre est assez sombre mais c'est ce qui fait son charme. le lien entre Maia/Cendrillon est  le prince est un régal à voir et l'auteure reprends beaucoup d'élément du contes originel. Je vous la conseille donc fortement soit en one shot soit en complément de Cruel Beauty mais c'est vraiment très réussit.

Nouvelle appartenant à la saga Shadow and Bone ou Grisha en français (chez Castelmore), elle peut se lire de manière complètement individuelle puisque les personnages ne sont pas les mêmes que le roman cependant l'univers magique est bien là et même si ce n'est pas les personnages j'ai aimé ce nouvel aspect de ce monde qui je pense va me réserver bien des surprises dans le tome 2.

Mark is back! Yeah. Bon je ne sais pas si vous vous souvenez mais Mark c'est un peu le mec qu'on déteste dans le premier  tome. Vous savez le lycéen qui maltraite Sam bah c'est lui et je dois dire qu'avec mes lecture des 4 tomes je l'ai franchement oublié et le revoir fait plaisir car comme à son habitude je sens que l'auteur va nous réserver des surprises avec ce personnages. On apprend pas énormément de choses pour l'intrigue principale mais on sait au moins ce qu'est devenu Paradise après le départ de John et puis je sens qu'on va le revoir ^^.

 Bon le personnage de Rachel est un de mes préférés de la saga, cette meuf est juste incroyable, vous lui laissez un ordinateur et elle peut tout faire cependant on ne savez pas trop comment elle était arrivée la en quelques sorte et on a enfin des réponses. je dois dire que la rencontre avec Galen est assez surprenante et que je me pose encore beaucoup de question sur sa vie d'avant mais j'ai beaucoup aimé.

Grande fan de l'univers de Cassandra Clare cela fait un an que chaque mois, j'attends ma petite nouvelle sur Magnus et malheureusement, il y a eu des hauts et des bas. Je ne vais pas vous faire une chronique pour chaque nouvelle mais je vais vous faire un avis général.

Mon premier ressenti avec la première nouvelle n'était pas très bon, What happened in Peru ne m'avais pas vraiment convaincue mais chaque mois la nouvelle s'améliorait et je prenais de plus en plus de plaisir à les lires.

On découvre la vie de Magnus a travers différentes époques, différentes villes et ce qui est bien c'est qu'à chaque nouvelle on a un petit clin d'œil à l'univers déjà présent dans les livres que ce soit par un personnage, une référence, une anecdote et croyait moi vous n'allez pas être déçu car ici on retrouve, Will et Tessa, James, Camille Raphael ils font tous un petit caméo et du coup on en apprend beaucoup sur ses personnages dont au final on ne sait pas tant de choses que ça.

J'ai donc pris un grand plaisir à lire ces nouvelles qui normalement vont sortir en français en numérique il me semble d'ailleurs que la première est déjà disponible cependant je ne conseillerai ce livre qu'aux fans inconditionnels de la saga car même si c'est sympa je ne pense pas que le livre plaira plus que ça. D'ailleurs je ne comprends pas pourquoi la version papier ne sort qu'en novembre mais cette édition semble pleine de bonus et d'illustration brefs si vous adorez la saga foncez sinon vous pouvez vous en passez.

Dernière nouvelle de The bane Chronicle je l'attendais avec impatience puisqu'il on allait enfin en savoir plus sur Magnus et Alec car oui ils sont ensembles mais au final on ne sait pas trop comment cela s'est fait et je dois dire que j'ai trouvé cette nouvelle très drôle et mignonne. Alec qui a vraisemblablement pas l’habitude de sortir en amoureux et maladroit et timide à l'inverse de Magnus qui semble à l'aise peut importe la situation et bien sur comme d'habitude dans le monde des shadowhunter rien ne se passe comme prévu.

-----------------------------------------------------   Petit prequel à Vicious n'ayant rien lu de l'auteure avant je voulais à travers cette nouvelle avoir un petit aperçu de son univers et surtout de son style d’écriture et je suis pour l'instant assez satisfaite, on sent de suite qu'elle a créé un univers riche et solide et vu la fin je suis très intriguée de lire le livre car je sens qu'il y a un petit rapport avec ce premier tome.

PANIC Origin Story de Lauren Oliver 

Pas de résumé pour cette novella qui ne fait que 12 pages et que vous trouverez gratuitement ici .

On suit ici une bande d'ado qui lors des premier jour d'été se lande un pari stupide d'ou découlera l'ensemble du jeu Panic.

C'est très court et en soit pas très utile par rapport à l'intrigue du livre mais au moins on se rend compte du point de départ qui est vraisemblablement une bonne d'ado bourré lors d'une soirée mais bon ça prend 10 min à lire.

Quand j'ai démarré ma lecture, je ne savais pas du tout que cette nouvelle était inspirée du conte de la petite sirène puis lorsque je l'ai su, ayant lu le conte original (et oui disney n'est pas la vraie histoire) ça à fait tilt dans ma tête et j'ai reconnu certains éléments. Je dois dire que j'adore absolument l'univers créé par Marissa Meyer, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai moins aimé cette histoire, peut être parce qu'en a peine quelques pages je n'ai pas pu m'accrocher ou que justement il me manquait les personnages que j'adore tant. En tout cas si vous êtes de la saga je vous la conseille vraiment car ça reste sympa à lire surtout que l'histoire et tout aussi mélancolique que le conte.

Qu'est-ce que j'attendais cette nouvelle avec le point de vue d'Aspen, car oui jeté moi des tomates, mais je préfère Aspen à Maxon et je me fiche du reste et donc je la voulais cette nouvelle. J'ai beaucoup aimé, même si elle n'apporte rien à l'intrigue et qu'on revit des moments du tome 2 sous le point de vue d'Aspen, j'ai quand même passé un bon moment. Je trouve Aspen très attachant, et même s'il n'a pas le charisme de Maxon, je ne sais pas, il dégage un petit côté sympathique et on voit qu'il tient beaucoup à America ce qui est le principal.

Five est un personnage qui apparaît dans le 4ème tome de la saga qui il me semble n'est pas encore sortie en français je ne dirais donc pas grand chose sur lui mise à part que je voulais absolument connaître son passé et maintenant c'est chose faite et même si cela n'efface rien je comprends mieux ce personnage et du coup j'ai très envie d'avoir le tome 5 dans les mains mais bon il faut attendre aout.

Petite nouvelle préquelle de sa nouvelle série de livre, on suit ici 2 gargouilles Dez et Jasmine. Ils étaient autrefois amoureux, mais la fuite de Dez a anéanti Jasmine et lorsque celui revient dans l'intention de la conquérir, elle ne va pas lui rendre les choses faciles. Comme d'habitude Jennifer L. Armentrout arrive à créer des personnages drôles et attachants. Jasmine a une réparti folle et elle m'a bien fait rire, mais sous sa coquille de femme forte, on voit qu'elle est fragile et que ce que Dez a fait l'a vraiment blessée. Et même s'ils ne seront pas les personnages principaux de la série l'introduction à cet univers m'a bien plu et je lirai la série sans-souci.

Situé entre le tome 1 et 2 de la saga "The Goddess Test" on voit les premiers pas de Kate en tant qu'immortel, elle est en Grèce avec James et lorsqu'elle va tomber sur les jumeaux Lux et Casey en fuite des dieux elle va réaliser que dans ce nouveau monde certaines injustices règnent. Et même si j'ai bien aimé ma lecture, et même si Henry était présent à travers son point de vue leur relation m'a légèrement manqué. Mais bon, cela reste une lecture agréable surtout si vous avez aimé le tome 1.

Mais comment fait-elle ? En 100 pages Colleen Hoover a encore frappé. J'ai était encore une fois toute retourné par un de ces livres. On suit ici Daniel meilleur ami de Hodger et lorsqu'il va rencontrer Six revenue d'Italie une jolie histoire va commencer entre eux. Mais voilà si c'était aussi simple ça serait parfait mais ça ne l'est pas et l'auteur m'a encore une fois touchée. Elle arrive en partant d'un truc simple à retourner toute une situation et à nous émouvoir, c'est donc très fort de sa part et je vous conseille ces livres.
